Interesting musing. I would imagine for the reconnected organelles to stay correctly connected, whatever led them to disconnect in the first place would need to be addressed.

Many theories including lifestyle has been proposed as eventually leading to Alzheimer’s and other problems. Perhaps lifestyle appropriately corrected and maintained after A2-73 have done its job would lead to a permanent stable condition all else being equal?
