Talon,
I can recall an old advertisement suggesting, “If you want to capture someone’s attention...Whisper.” (I think is was for a lady’s perfume with that name (or powder or similar product)
So, our company did go the route of “whispering” for a long time. Something you appropriately termed a “winter” and that brought attention but pessimistic, critical attention.
Perhaps, if we now have something to say: genetic links and PET scan receptor occupancy correlation to patient response...we had better try YELLING?
I hope the presentation is during a plum time slot which has been cleared and in a room large enough to accommodate media, audience, and 6 very amazing Strong Responders.
Missling would hardly have to open his mouth. Simply gesture toward the “awoken” miraculous fine ladies and gentlemen and let them say a few words. Drop mic.
End of presentation.
Bet we’d capture some POSITIVE attention at that point.
And one basher, in particular, would probably tweet about their poor clothing choice (what else could really be said? Too few? Ha! Wish not one man more...if you and I alone were needed to brave a battle, we are enough to do our country loss. And if to win, the fewer men, the greater share of honor.)
Let’s go for the glory. We didn’t put all of the time, effort, work, and resources into this for a half-court press, did we?
