Whatever it means, it kind of shoots down Flip's gray/blue theory.
I think we all would agree that LL is an honest researcher. She most certainly would not have stated 2-1 if she was aware it was not.
If all she knew was total DCVax-L shipments (as the paper suggests), and she did not know the numbers in each arm, she could not assert they were all "gray".
If she knew more information, then she knew the numbers were wrong and/or deceptive.
The only reasonable explanation is that the chart is a bit "sloppy" and the "gray" on the bottom does not imply it must be "gray" at the top.
