To assume I have no ideas is your problem. Classic troll action... if I had answered, you would pounce on it, and if I don't answer you whine
I already told you my question was not an attempt to trap you or denigrate your views. I am not using some troll action. I am really interested.
It is a shame that we can not have a conversation or exchange of opinions without thinking one of us is trying to set some sort of trap to ridicule one or the other of us. That is what has entirely gone wrong in our society today.
Look Dude, I don't hate you. We may have different opinions but that is not reason enough for me to start flinging insults, although I will respond to them in like manner at times. Most often I try not to. And at other times I can not help but to speak in the same tone as spoken to me.
If you don't care to share, so be it. Honestly, I am curious as to just what liberals see as an immigration and border security (if they desire border security at all) policy would be their goal or desire.
I am not ashamed to admit that the Goodlatte Bill would have satisfied me, although there was no actual guarantee of funding for the wall (which I would also like to see happen). Pretty simple 1.) End to chain migration, except for children and spouses 2.) end to lottery visas 3.) pathway to citizenship for the dreamers 4.) E-Verify measure
5.) some change to the current asylum rules, such as applying at American Consulates and not just stepping onto American soil 6.) Merit based immigration rules that align with requirements for citizenship
7.) A guest worker program that adjusts to the anticipated need for guest workers, not a set and increasing number from year to year
Up to you to share (or not) how you think things should be.
