Topping Tails in Uptrends (spike highs) can be on the intraday and of course the daily chart as well. Usually the bar is a NRB (narrow range bar) and the volume might be climactic. If the uptrend is very strong, don't expect the reversal to be more than a "pause that refreshes" Every scanning software loves to 'search out these patterns' . Sometimes they work like in the case of ANPI (both up and down) and sometimes they just fail to dictate the upcoming trend.
When this occurs what we refer to as a Bearish COT (change of trend) might occur
