Tiger, this is the typical broker games. Bigdog and Same53 both use scottrade and have verified several times with the TA that he sent the request months ago to them. The information the TA needs is simple. The brokers are stalling....the reason is simple as well. They have short positions and need to cover them before they give the data to the TA. Once they submit the data, the TA will know without a doubt exactly how short each broker is. FTD's are a big problem for them...they will have to admit how short they are, and I would suspect they will do anything and everything they can to avoid being trapped. The TA told me 4 brokers were really giving him a problem, TDA is one...another is scottrade, per Same53 and Bigdog. The other two he did not disclose to me. We have to continue pressing the brokers.
