Through the first round of voting, Gleybar Torres trails only Houston’s Jose Altuve among AL second basemen. Torres won’t catch the reigning AL MVP, but if he keeps hitting like he has since his debut, he figures to find a way to make it to Washington for the Midsummer Classic.
