Could not find supporting documentation on that subject while researching it.

President CEO is a lying sleaze ball

But...

Did a little digging, and even though I do not know the CEO personally; it seems that those who do have a totally different opinion of CEO Steve Smith.

Not everyone has the same opinions of others when they are wronged by them on a personal level. Not sure what that story is, but Steve Smith seems to be a very credible person to many people who have left high opinions of the CEO. Several more high regards when visiting his LinkedIn page.
