barge- Since Michael was so open to

discussing future capabilities that we have seen no evidence of, I wonder why he didn't talk about VOIP and subscriber management, which is their most recent news? Put me on the fence about this whole thing still. I can't even see how the WXP patents come in to play anymore, since datacasting is dead, and filtering must be part of any delivery method to retain the patent protection I remember understanding.

Gotta love it! "One simple way to understand what TVTonic is all about is simply by reviewing its name! The Tonic in TVTonic is to be understood in two ways: Tonic as in a refreshing stimulant AND Tonic as in virtual monoTONIC counters, which is fancy term for Metering Applets." Nice angle Barge! Jeff

Barge

You said " understand I'm about the only on this board who is fervent about the Consumer side collectively representing D-DAY for TPMs. I just don't buy into the typical Wavoid belief that the Enterprise/Government/DOD TPM push will explode exponentially in 2007.".

Two things.
1. No you're not the only one.
2. I agree with you completely abot the second sentence you
used in that paragraph.

I also understand that goes against the grain, but then, in my 2 and a half decades of running corporations, I ususally always have gone against the grain and not followed the crowd.

Popularity really doesn't mean much, but then again, if you are running for a political office, it means a lot. lol!!!!

I have said too many times (for me, more than once is too many) that government is slow to procure even after it has adopted and signed off on a standard. Anyone dealing with the government knows this.
The good news is that once you are "in" and the orders start coming and you don't screw up, you have a pretty sizeable customer who is never short of money!

Never stop being an individual Barge. It makes you who you are and I for one like the Barge I have come to know over so many years.

the best,
