Although not always the case for all GBM patients receiving DCVax-L, I have met some long-term GBM survivors treated with DCVax-L at UCLA. They include: Jennifer Sugioka, a 17 year GBM survivor; Brad Silver, a 14 year GBM survivor; Elijah Luyten, MD, a 10 year GBM survivor; Gallia Kistler, a 6 year GBM survivor; and, Jamil Newirth, a 6 year GBM survivor.
1) She didn't receive DCVax til 15 years AFTER her stage II brain tumor diagnosis. 2) She received it after her 3rd surgery at UCLA for Grade III Anaplastic Astrocytoma, not GBM. That was in 2013. She was first diagnosed in 1998.
I'm glad she is doing well, but you are either ignorant of her story or are being purposefully dishonest.
Not really sure how she got in the P2 trial with AA (not GBM). Perhaps at the time (prior to the clinical hold) the company offered compassionate use.
