This document shows Seafarers went out 50 days.....
on Area 1 in 2014-15 alone as subcontractors for HTQ. It's a bit hard to see the dates, but I think 50 is accurate. This was obtained via discovery from the BAR in their current case along with nearly 3000 pages of other documents.
Now they didn't obtain Area 1's dig and ID permit until July 2016 and it has been stated by SFRX HTQ has over a decade of research/exploration on Area E-155 (1,2, and 3).
It only took Kyle 17 1/2 months to obtain Area 2's exploration permit, not a recovery permit. I know, it's impressive.

Seafarer Exploration Corp has finalized an agreement with Heartland Treasure Quest LLC (HTQ) for a third treasure site.
HTQ has surveyed, explored, and researched the site and historical archives for over a decade. Seafarer will now start the application process for another salvage permit.

We want to continue to emphasize the academic importance of excellent archaeology and reporting with the projects we have been given the responsibility to complete. And, in line with that, we wish to thank the archaeologists and biologists at HTQ for their commitment to professional standards. Seafarer and the Florida Bureau of Archaeological Research are committed to the very highest professional archaeological standards. Seafarer is now in the research stage for future wreck sites number 4 and 5."
