(Actually, I seem to have a recollection of a complete "ref design" for a TD-SCDMA air interface system being marketed by InterDigital, but that may have been for WTDD.)


I believe they are in reference to W-TDD only. I don't believe IDCC has/is embarking on any TD-SCDMA chip development work. The closest thing I heard from IR and IDCC PR is that IDCC existing TDD IPR applies to the TD-SCDMA application.

Possibly this link to the "TD-SCDMA Datasheet InterDigital" is what you are thinking of. Sorry, I can't copy and paste from the PDF file.

p.s. Also, on the bottom of page 2, under Product Availability, it states:
