I think what's worth noting is that while the suit notes that Green Energy owes the amounts they're not bothering to actually sue the corporation, but going after Ms. Vigil personally.
I think they recognize that the corporation's equity was pretty thouroughly looted, and so they're looking for the money in one of the places the loot went.
