I worked as an exploration geophysicist (seismic interpreter) for 42 years before retiring in 2016. I worked the Gulf of Mexico for 16 years, including both deep water and the shelf. So my information is slightly out of date, but recent enough to be credible. It was an incredibly fun career, and I miss being involved with exploration - it’s like a big treasure hunt. Having some stock in Gulfslope lets me stay involved to a very small extent.
