These bashers will always take the side and cover for the brokers wrong doings while acting like it's just a technicality that brought this investigation on.
When they say learn how the markets work they mean learn how the markets have always worked by their rules and in the favor of the brokers and that's the way it is, so get used to it and shut up.
They believe they are the elite of the market system and no one should say anything when they manipulate the system for their financial gain, they believe it's their right to do what they want when they want, because they also believe that investors are only pawns for them to use.
When companies like CMKX cost them money or shed light on their unethical practices they do not like it. Most people don't realize how shorting works and it's manipulative power over a stocks PPS. Investors also don't know a lot of the other dirty tricks used by the people that control and run the markets.
