In order to profit from buyout, one has to have shares "before hand", so we are good.
If the process was working well enough to be economic then it is a material event and they can't hide that from their shareholders who trade it all day long. The stock exchange won't allow that. If fact the shareholders who sell JBL stock would sue them later for withholding material news.
