The question is can the kids sustain their idealism.
Perhaps they can. The Sandy Hook survivors were in elementary school. These kids are older, and they're organizing a social media campaign, which young people are good at. They're also planning a national march.
It'd also be a good subject for school projects going forward. Not just at Parkland, but in other communities as well.
And it's time the soccer moms got pissed off. They can be a powerful force, if they organize and act.
