re: VIX, it was up 7% before 8:30 CPI gut punch
then down 4% before the open.
wind left its sails in opening hour.

UVXY bounced from 18.16 S @ 10:40
but didn't get very high
and is sagging again as i type.

imo, key is for SPY to break above double-whammy sma10/ema9 R @ 267.5.

we'll see...
