She was a real psychopath. Even killed her own son. For insurance money, of course. Female serial killers tend to be more practical than men.
I went through a True Crime period. Read a lot of books about it. One striking thing is that the women don't dislike, much less hate, the people they off. Those people just get in their way, so they have to go. They seem to expect others to understand that.
There was a woman who killed her husband, and then hastily moved to Canada. There, she married once again, but didn't kill that one. Eventually, though, she was caught, and extradited back to the States. She went to prison, but escaped after three years.
And returned to Canada, where she managed to convince her then husband that she was her own (nonexistent) twin sister...
