He left on 8/2/06..when IDCC stock closed at $26.87..and "dead money"...His wishes for good luck appears to have been answered.

Sons..I am going to do just that, this was a very depressing cc you could hear it Merritt's voice how frustrated he is with licensing, explains the huge insider selling and Kapur's downgrade. I am more covinced than ever that this mgmt isn't strong enough to execute, this is dead money and can't hold this stock any longer, 15 yrs of waiting, enough is enough..To all longs I never meant to make people mad with my posts, but felt my feelings needed to be expressed...good luck to all of you

I can't read his mind but I would venture a guess and say it has something to do with Management and the BOD restructuring their options to gain 3X what they gave up if they reach certain goals on or before a certain date in 2007. The dates may not be bulls eye accurate as I am relying on memory, however I am in the ball park regarding options. I only hope there is execution towards reaching part of the goal in 2006 but that would only make their options worth less when they receive them, so 2007 is probably on the mark.

jimlur...when i said 07 will be idc's year, I was making a joke, usually around this time of year we start to hear the die hard longs start to say next year will be the year for this company. i currently don't believe 07 will be any different than 06 for this company as long as this mgmnt is in charge and do not currently own any stock. I find it this board gives me a good laugh when I read the board messages and read the same thing from the longs who continue to believe in this mgmnt team...
