...true, but the reason in "part" is that many brokers wont allow shorting under $5, for THE LITTLE guy, another injustice in the system. (what happened to reform?)

I short stocks from 25 cents on up. I'm glad you think that this might be "smart", as I'm beginnning to have my doubts. <g>

As for "going to the well", it seems VLNC has only one well, which is Berg. How does it benefit insiders if Berg is the one who buys all the new shares? Do you think Berg himself may be shorting somehow, surreptitiously?
