I mean shorting with the sure knowledge that these shares will be replaced with equity acquired at lower prices as VLNC goes back to the well for more money to cover their working capital requirement. In the last three months the stock has done essentially nothing trading around $3.5 or so, but the short interest increased from less than 4 MM to almost 6 MM. Since Mosis does not short many stocks under $5, I have to assume this is "smart" sorting going on.
