Yes of course. But the market value stock price models are based on US sales too, Canada projections are already built in to the price by very experienced financial analysts. If the revenues are higher or lower than expected in Canada in 2018, that's one thing, and it will affect the price, but no one knows that, not even them... but US operations are 100% built into stock analysis models by professionals today.
The price goes up and down like crazy of course based on supply and demand of the stock, but ultimately it will end up somewhere around where financial analysts value it. Your stock will go up and down, and you can flip it day to day, but at the end of the day it is based on Canada projections, as well as US (and Global) projections since the industry will be selling there from Canada. Saying to ignore the US news is completely ignorant though since it is more than 10 times the size of Canada.
