Will have to go back and look at charts. I do agree it has some merit. The 0 also. I have thought that if for example you are long on break of the CCI above -100, then it goes up but cannot break zero line, or does go above Zero line, then down below zero line, you should get out of long and go back short, though never got above +100. Failure to get above +100 means the up move is weak.

Same thing on the short side. If you are short because CCI got above +100 then went below +100, then goes down but cannot break the zero line, or breaks zero line but then goes back above, it. Need to get out of short and go back long - failure to get below -100 means move down is weak.

See, not sure how to play this now. It is end of day, so no new position, but see how the QQQQ 144 CCI 5 min got above the zero line, but has not been able to get above the +100 all day. Now fell below the zero line. I think it is a short here.

Agree?

Old rules were you only go back short if either: the 144 CCI got above the +100 then fell below it; or the 144 CCI falls back below the -100.

But now we are considering the zero line also . . .
