I have thought that if for example you are long on break of the CCI above -100, then it goes up but cannot break zero line, or does go above Zero line, then down below zero line, you should get out of long and go back short, though never got above +100. Failure to get above +100 means the up move is weak.
Same thing on the short side. If you are short because CCI got above +100 then went below +100, then goes down but cannot break the zero line, or breaks zero line but then goes back above, it. Need to get out of short and go back long - failure to get below -100 means move down is weak.
