It's always speculation, even when people think they "know" things. The most "transparent" therapies that were bound to be approved have been the ones, in my experience, that have OFTEN been the biggest failures. The truth was, they weren't transparent, their company founders and executives just talked a lot, and investors and, most often the big ones, fell for it. Unless it's incredibly obvious, like Car-T, much of the time the loudest championed companies by the biggest publishers, news commentators have frequently been the biggest flops.
