Not too sure about that outlook, what would Apple gain from this outcome? Stop companies from using the liquidmetal name! It would just be a bump in the road, li didn’t invest a total of 2 billion USD when all said and done for Apple to step on his toes...
I think this is on a bigger level then we here in the real ihub world like to believe, I’ve posted many articles here and some of which has revealed the relationship between li and Apple, in this article li said he needed to prove that he could boost his production by double and proved to Apple it could be done, I’m not sure the year this happened but my guess would be 2014/2015, then li purchased lqmt in March 2016 and his last two tranches the day after ip7 reveal...in a document/q&a earlier that year he said they were going to meet with Apple later that year, maybe he purchased his two tranches cause Apple told him the plan for 2018?...
Now all that being said why Did tony and Hauck sell? This did my head in.
