That's funny you say that because my brother feels the same way about it having a soapy quality to him. I think cilantro is really a love-it-or-hate-it herb. No inbetweeny for it. I've never had luck growing it here so I just buy it at the grocery store. The dried stuff is the worst.

yes, but not always. i don't understand why. sometimes it tastes good to me and other times it's soap. maybe it's the wine.

lol, I don't. But cilantro is one of those things that people either love or hate.
