Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of ANAVEX 2-73 for Rett

That is right in the Company's presentation. If I remember correctly, 60 in each arm.

I think there is a high dose, low dose, and placebo arm. Probably about the same number in each arm so a 2:1 chance of getting study drug would be my guess.


The trial is clearly set up so that we will get accelerated approval if it works for Rett. If it works, approval is guaranteed.

This is something I've kind of wondered about. There is a recent (weakly) positive trial with dextromethorphan. Does it have to have more of an effect than DM to get approval? Not sure, no one is advocating for a DM indication because it's generic.
