rr, I think the Marine raid on Langley story is preposterous!
500 - 2200 Marines land from helicopters??? Those that have driven past Langley know it's not in a remote area.
The primary assault helicopters that the Marine use is the Blackhawk. It has a troop capacity of about 14. It would take 35 to 150 helo trips to land that many Marines.
