Yes, apparently IP is well within LP's area of ken. Very often an attorney will have more than one area of specialty. But more often than not when an attorney claims expertise in an auxiliary area of law to his main expertise that hhis client may need, what that often means is that he has a partner or associate who handles that part of the representation of that client.
