I am certainly with you on this!

In the closing three minutes of the session I sold two thousand units of ALDW just to have a bit of cash available for spending tomorrow. And I picked up 350 more DK and now hold 2,000 DK.

Come Q1 and the big swallow, I'll be receiving more DK so I'm simply paving the way. But doing it now is profitable as DK is going to rise, I'm positive. What with DK undervalued and in my mind ALDW is overvalued, I'm steering my ship and not waiting for others to force my hand.

Have a beer for me!

I sold because I am just not sure what is going to happen or how ALDW pricing was/will be impacted. I just did not have a deep enough understanding of the deal so I did not want to guess or hope for the best and just got out.

If this goes anything like the merging with ALJ all should work out okay. DK announced the buyout of ALJ in early January of this year and ALJ holders still received distributions from Q4 of 2016 and Q1 of 2017. Had the deal not finalized in late June (the last day of Q2) we may have gotten a Q2 2017 distribution as well. Once the ratio was set...until the deal was done both ALJ and DK moved relatively the same with respect to one another. There were no shenanigans going on...that I could recognize anyway.

However, with the DK/ALJ deal they didn't publically have counsel from the "she-weasel" who worked on the NTI deal. Herein lies my worry.

Here's to Jugs for playing both sides of the coin. I may sell some too as more of my unit gains move into the long term category.

GLTA!
