First of all, the Dagga couple are not fighting for medical marijuana, but for recreational marijuana legislation. Surely some folks like the 'Dagga couple' want complete legislation, but that is not for them to decide.

Now regarding the Medical Innovation Bill, it is not "dead in the water", not in the slightest. In fact, the Portfolio Committee on Health met on September 13th concerning the Medical Innovation Bill, according to the government docket (see page 5)

; Follow-up briefing by the National Health and
Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU) on the National Health Laboratory Service Amendment Bill

At the September 13th meeting, it was stated that the committee would reconvene on October 13th to finalize the guidelines. The date for the next meeting was not fabricated by the company, and you can hear that the 13th of October was supposed to be the date for the next meeting in this audio recording from the September 13th committee meeting (listen from the 39th minute).

Chairman Singh states, before the 13th of October, we are going to make arrangements to engage in formerly, so we can come and consider the desirability of the bill, and take it from there. That is the understanding that we have.

What is important to understand, is that the MCC is anticipating that the guidelines will be ready by the end of the year.

In a statement, the MCC says it expects to release regulations for the cultivation of medical marijuana for public comment by the end of the year. These criteria are expected to cover aspects of growing such as soil and seed quality as well as preferred varieties and geographical areas for growth.

Cape Town-based company Verve Dynamics, which specialises in “vegan-friendly” botanical extracts, is ready to begin growing medicinal weed in Lesotho after its government granted the firm a licence two weeks ago.

Once the MCC’s regulation is adopted, South Africans will be able to apply for permits to grow the plant, following in the footsteps of the mountain kingdom.

This is wildly absurd and needs to be corrected $TXTM

Apparently you just need to brush up on your DD of S Africa MJ - and the fight toward legalization. I gave verifiable DD on the Dagga couple and what they are fighting for. They are dealing with recreational MJ - whixh will never pass in s Africa. We are talking about Medicinal MJ here - and the bill has already gone through passage and final review of new language. It will be placed back on to issue licenses - and tha risk our hope in what $TXTM tweeted today - that we are close to hearing about

I too, am sho led at the pps - but understand that the company has to do a better job communicating and must stop the leaky faucet. Although it appeared more retail- again we hit thr bottom of the channel. This doesn't hit 4's bud.
This goes for. .0005-.0008 pps. We almost broke .001+ when the license issuance meeting was scheduled. The delay is typical and so is the reaction by shareholders and traders.

I will be patient here and grab some at 5/6. My average is actually .00066 pps. I would love to bring that down to 6. Need a few more mil at 5-6 and I'm golden.

I would venture to guess that when this does come out with the update- we will see a run similar to earlier this year IMO. Shareholders need the company to bring value BACK, they need to present why $TXTM is uniquely positioned here and then proof they have license or working toward the final stages.

They should release as much as they could via Twitter - You should feel free to request this of them off their Twitter account.

IMO- The delays and the dilutive trends have shown no mercy here. That is exactly why this is .0005 pps. However- this is just one material event away from 1000% and that is just not an easy task for most OTC companies. For $TXTM - I'm confident it will happen if they deliver the event here. They must stop the delays and substantiate proof of their dealings with the S.Africsn Parliament and specifically - they named the Chairmen. That was a huge validation coming from the company directly this afternoon.
