Tadasana, your experience may be different from mine, but, I can tell you from mine, there is no issue with what LP stated. Business is business, facts are facts, dollars are dollars, and, business is dollars. The words she used to apply a straight arm to BP hypothetically are meaningless to BP. It is expected. If BP has an interest in the company they will call her. If there is common ground in science and value the discussion will continue, if not it will not. It is not a collegial situation, it is a poker game. Believe me, LP said nothing that will scare off or offend any BP if they want to talk. As a matter of fact all small bio's have to use different tactics to enforce, usually in words only, their independence in order to attain value. BP is great at taking advantage of situations, it is business. They do not pay attention to such statements, they are expected. Sometimes you see early partnering relationships which work out fine, but, more often, micros have to establish their science first and that takes time and they interact with BP's along the way. All micros will say they will commercialize on their own, they will say BP's will only slow them down,... It is all part of the game. Please don't worry about anything in this area and save your worry for the data. It is all about the data.

I am fine with data release coming. I hope NWBO releases blinded and blended 2 and 3 year survival rates, the keys here in my opinion. The word preliminary simply means when data is blinded and blended no one knows anything for sure, but, that being said, if the data shows a nice clip up compared to historical data with no known reason for the improvement other than the active treatment, it should be pretty clear what is most likely going on. How about a 2 year blended survival rate of 40% (vs historical 30%) and a 3 year blended survival rate of 25% (vs historical 15%), just my opinions.

It is not typical to release blinded and blended data but this is not a typical situation. Paradigms are being challenged for good reason, the benefit of patients.

I find it impossible to imagine all giant pharmaceutical corps would ignore nwbo out of spite.
