Along this line of thinking the SOC arm might be prevented from any further enrollment by a "temporary halt" until NWBO agreed not to enroll any more patients right? Best wishes-- Doc Logic

Along your extension of the hypothetical doc, it might then imply,

1. From your numbers in another post, that 300 patients were randomized and 31 were not -- but all are considered part of the trial....investigators and patients would still be told patients were randomized to keep the trial blinded???

Or

2. The alternative hypothetical under this theory, is they still randomized the last 31 patients only because their tumors had been removed and frozen and crossover was ultimately still available, but they did not allow any more because it would be wrong to give people placebos after that.
