During a time during the screening halt Woodford was registered as an active shareholder. All info privy to insiders was available to him. At a point later in time they went back and registered as a passive investor.

The "nothing untoward" statement IMO just relates to the "development" that recruitment of new patients was suspended and a temporary measure while regulatory info was submitted, in line with clinical protocols.
Nowhere in this statement does it imply that Woodford was provided any additional details about the clinical hold.
And your quote that the company never shed any light on the regulatory intervention further seems to confirm that Woodford had no additional details.
At this time, I think it could be inappropriate for NWBO to provide Woodford with details about the hold, but not inform all shareholders simultaneously.

My stance is that NW knows much, much more than he suggests. First, NW had access to NWBO and other info as an insider. Second, he had all the necessary data/notes/documents gathered by Ondra (which was forced on NWBO by NW). I find it unfathomable that NW would put in $180 million and not know know about the halt OR not find out the underlying reason (after the fact). With the resources this guy has, I don't believe LP pulled the wool over his eyes. Either NW is the dumbest b@sterd under the sun or the smartest. I suggest it's the latter. We will find out soon.

By the way, I also find it interesting that soon after the Ondra meeting, the Phase 5 report was published. Soon after the phase 5 report was published, NW published his letter. Coincidence? I don't believe in coincidences when hundreds of billions are at stake.
