It may also be a multi arm trial, super responders, insomnia, other identified risk factors. While all are likely to have a positive response IMO, the data gained from such a trial would be invaluable to prescribing physicians.

The data is from AD patients, so if they find a useful correlative it would be only supportable for AD. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be a relevant correlative for another disease (eg Parkinson's), it just means that it wouldn't be reliable. Let's say Ariana discovered that there was a correlation of 2-73 effectiveness against AD with the existence of allele XYZ in the patients' genomes. Would that have relevance for Parkinson's? There's a great way to find out: do a Parkinson's trial with an XYZ allele arm. This is what Missling is referring to.
