I thought AMD ends up paying for it anyway, whether it be through direct compensation or through one-cent stock options that dilute shareholder equity.
Hence the issue of accounting and expensing the options. All AMD ends up doing is shifting the "cost" to pull in Rivet toward expenses that are "hidden" to most of the public.
