I was very surprised to see no responses to your post - IMHO you have hit right on to the chances to play earnings reports. If I may, I will compliment you Paul, on the quality of your posts. They serve as a major learning experience for the trading newcomer. I hope I never have to experience the 90% giveback in acct value - but I am ever cognizant of it happening.

Yeah, I think I'm now 0 for 3 on earnings plays, since I made the mistake of following Zeev into OVTI before the close today. It's not a gamble if I always lose, it's more like idiocy...damned if I haven't learned this lesson for the last time.

By the way, Paul, the play into INTU earnings yesterday was a pretty good play, though I left half of the potential gains on the table. D2 actually did much better on that play. Some of the biggest multi buckers were taken on such plays in the April earning period...
