Bruce, please don't go to any trouble to answer since you're busy : emachine model T2885 PSU died and I need PN 100744 which is a Bestec ATX 250 12E. I'll go to Fry's as soon as they open.
If I can't find one locally and have to order on the web, any online store recommendation? I found many stores. Fast delivery is more important than price.
PS: gotta rethink backup. All my stuff IS backed up on the 2nd HD inside the computer with the failed power supply. I'm typing this on an old 400 MHz emachine.

Incidentally, Windows Vista RC1 is now available for download. I'm downloading it even as I type this. I think I'll leave my XP Pro alone C: and install this on F:, just for fun. Sound OK?
I'm also thinkin'.... hmmm... mebbe Bruce wants to test drive Vista on his new machine?
Sorry to hear about the setback with your mobo. Frustrating, I'm sure. Will Asus replace it for free, or do they hassel you if the box was already opened?
