In fact, I see launching FlutiCare off prime allergy season as a strong positive, because Innovus isn't thrown right away into fierce marketing battles with pharma giants. That way Innovus can garner marketing and sales experience with FlutiCare with a little less pressure before it heads into its first intense trial of strength in spring.
The Hikma deal was a fantastic and incredibly smart move by Dr. Damaj. Give credit where credit is due. He found a way to bring FlutiCare to the market even before the original ANDA was approved. Instead of waiting in powerlessness on the FDA decision he went ahead and secured a clean deal with Hikma. Genius move.
