It is my understanding that Ganthet's difficulty making their Mobile Messaging app compatible with Apple was not because VP was incompatible, it was because GANTHET's application code for THEIR application was incompatible.
As Bruce has clearly stated in the past and has now stated again in this press release, ValidianProtect functions perfectly "on all major technology platforms, operating systems, and devices." That has never been the issue. And as he has stated in the past, the Ganthet messaging app is an excellent demonstration tool, nothing more. It was an easy way for Bruce to demonstrate ValidianProtect's capabilities.
It is my understanding that all product developers have some difficulty with Apple iOS. And it would appear that even Validian tackled Apple last as they perfected VP. But it apparently never actually delayed their progress.
However, there have been rumors circulating for several months that it was taking GANTHET longer than they expected to upgrade THEIR Mobile Messaging app to the new Apple OS and iOS environments. Of course, that would have naturally delayed GANTHET's scheduled rollout of THEIR Mobile Messaging app to THEIR Apple customers.
But as this PR clearly reveals, it did not prevent Bruce from marketing Validian's cyber security app ValidianProtect to VALIDIAN's prospects and customers.
The thing to remember is that Bruce Benn has NEVER pinned his company's hope of success upon Ganthet's ability to keep pace with the technological changes of their market. From Bruce's point of view, Ganthet's app was always nothing more than a demonstration and marketing tool to show the world what VP could do. Of course, from Ganthet's point of view, it was always their bread-and-butter.
Bruce has made it clear for three or four years that he always intended to develop VP so that it could be distributed to the 250,000 ISVs (independent software vendors) of the world that are being used by the many Majors he was trying to interest in VP.
Obviously, those 250,000 ISVs have zero interest in Ganthet's Mobile Messaging app. Their only concern would be heir ability oo easily, quickly and economically incorporate VP into THEIR OWN software applications. And that has never been a problem. That is the reason Validian developed the modularized version of VP.
I hope that helps.
