As for the trade, Polo is just a throw in. Looks like he is no more than a speedy 4th OF down the road. Thought we would get more for the three players, but then again, Rutherford being top 30 is higher than I thought we would get for Robertson alone. This should really help the Yankees this year, so good luck! If Clarkin can develop as well as Rutherford, I will be happy nonetheless about this trade, but hoping to hear there will be 1-2 players to be named later.

Now onto Swarzack and Melky being shipped out. Wondering if Avi may be on the way out too? With all of these young high end prospect OF's(granted 1-2 years away) if someone over offers for Avi, I think the Sox need to take it.

Rick Hahn on local news said they had other offers out there, but by bundling Kahnle with Frazier and Robertson to the Yankees, he was able to get Rutherford whom he believes has a tremendous future. Also really like Clarkin and thinks Tito is a player that knows how to get on base, steal bases and can play all three spots in OF.

In the end, instead of trading the three for quantity, we wanted to bundle for quality-Paraphrased

I guess I will have to trust him. He really sounded high on Rutherford though. Now, there is a logjam though? Jimenez, Robert, Aldolfo, Rutherford and also Basabe from Sale trade. All 19 and 20. I guess in that case quality and quantity? Five potential future big time studs in the OF! Also have some other players in AA and AAA that are starting to figure it out, but no one with the ceilings of those five.

Well for now, even more exciting time to be a Yankee Fan! This was a huge move tonight by them. That back end of the bullpen is downright scary!

Really psyched that this move cleared a spot for Moncada to finally come up. Should help my fantasy team as well! That said, I am a little grumpy that they are talking about him playing 3B?????? That should be Davidson now, so we can figure out if the kid can handle it going forward. 2B is supposed to be Moncada's spot, so move Yolmer Sanchez out of the way. Heck, trade Sanchez to a contender in need!
