What we know about IPCI is that Odidi and his wife are the founders and they own a large share of the company. Therefore, it's in their own interest to develop the company into commercial stage.
Now, being a scientist and at the same time a CEO, some might see it as negative. Only way is for you to look at all the past accomplishment to get an idea whether or not management is delivering value to shareholders.
Now, the science side of things, it was rather vague because author didn't say whether it was PDORAS, or just nPPPODS. He could be referring to PODRAS which is still in early stage of development where the company is looking to start clinical trials this year per their earnings report.
So there certainly can be issues this early and we don't know any facts of course but speculations. One thing is clear is that Rexista has value and is close to approval assuming the lawsuit don't drag on too long and IPCI get a partnership going.
