Don't really get into the statin mode of action...It's more of a religious issue. If it was simply risk of high LDL-C..then why do more than 50% of first time heart attacks occur in people with normal LDL-Cs..When money and medical science join hands truth is always the first man out...Even the FDA is no longer accepting LDL-C lowerers without outcomes trials..Still the apostles of the true church continue...
