Nonsense? If so, how do you know it is nonsense? As I've stated previously here #1 happened to me and my broker verified the 'in-house first' action. IMO that alone 'encourages' the price to go the direction I wanted because it encourages me to pay a higher price since the mm snuck in in front of me in the line. So all that is needed is for the mm program to be set to do #1 constantly one way (through #2) if they want to encourage the stock to move that way.
