And this is an example of absolutism that I think is wrong. Companies sometimes will take on debt when they have no other option BUT there is a chance that something will come through for them. Guess what? If that chance is only 3%, then it isn't 0% is it? 3% of companies would disprove what you are saying.
let me make this clear: I deplore toxic debt. When I buy a company that has that kind of debt it is with great caution, and usually for the extreme short term. I know that it is deadly to almost all companies.
