No each state has a website that you are able to see if companies that operate in that state are registered. Every state has one. I own my own "private" business in Florida and to be able to operate I must register with sunbiz. Any reputable company that wants to do business must register with sunbiz. You go on the website look up the company and find out the info on it.
Any company I must look hard and deeper for in my eyes is trying to hide something and isn't very reputable.
I have stock in ALKM but in my opinion I hope they have nothing to do with this so called ACI because not being able to find it and having to dig for a company doesn't sit well with me because like myself, I must be registered for anyone to do business with me.
