#29593 RE: QTRADERQ #29585

I have always thought that scientific patents are more valuable in the industry to companies compared to other commodities hence I put higher price tag on royalty. I have seen royalty deals from as low as 7% to high 12-14%. This is based on pharmaceutical sector deals. But 3-5% seems too low for this IMO. May be I'm too optimistic but thanks for your insights on this. The end numbers are still great. We will find out soon ! GL

Chanbond acquired entire patent suit from CBV.

Patents:
7,346,918
7,941,822
8,341,679
8,984,565
9,015,774

Continuances:

13/799,749
14/167,289

If Chanbond is suing all cable companies for infringement of above patents how much royalty they should collect for past five years. Also patent 8,341,679 was granted in 2008 so they are entitled to collect 8 years of royalty. I'm assuming 5% royalty is per patent right. If so then 25% in royalty payments.
