I don't know much about plants, but the same things apply.

I don't know alot about Rituxan. I was under the impression it was made in mam cell culture (chinese hamster ovary) and did not know about yeast production. Rituxan is described as a mono clonal ab. It is really a chimeric rat-human ie. part rat part human genetically engineered something. I have no idea how complex the molecule is. It apparently is a lock and key blocker of a critical site on the surface of B-lymphocytes. The most likely conclusion...it does not require an extremely complex environment for structural completion eg. milk transgenics.
